Compassionate, focussed discussions
Counseling on the individual level is guided by the client, who sets the goals of the sessions as well as the pace at which change is sought. Many of our clients report feeling safe and understood through the contact in sessions.
Changing patterns, combined healing
Searching for solutions to long-standing issues in a couple involves commitment from each partner as well as the therapist. Our experience has shown us that, although challenging at times, the rewards from seeking help outside the couple are often worth the effort.
Sensitive to Younger Needs
Children require a special blend of understanding and encouragement to allow them to develop solutions to their suffering. Elizabeth has a stong affinity for working with children, and she has honed her skills in this area. Your child may find her healing energy both soothing and inspiring. Parents often report that they, too, learn from their children's experience of counseling.
Treating an addiction is often about using compassion and understanding to assist an individual with making long-term changes. Families and spouses often benefit from additional support in counseling as well. Both Elizabeth and John have worked extensively in helping clients to resolve addictive illness.
